Project Description
This role involves testing new mobile app features under development, validating usability across devices, and ensuring that both iOS and Android releases meet PixelSphereβs quality standards. The goal is to deliver applications that are reliable, intuitive, and free of critical bugs before public release.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The tester will design and execute manual test cases, report issues in detail, retest fixes, and provide feedback on usability and performance. They will also contribute to regression testing before major releases and maintain accurate test documentation.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates may have a diploma or degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, but self-taught testers are also encouraged to apply. Previous internship or coursework in software testing is desirable. Certifications such as ISTQB Foundation are an advantage but not required.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Work will involve bug tracking in JIRA, documentation in Confluence, and device testing with both physical hardware and emulators. Training will be provided for candidates unfamiliar with these tools.
Language Requirement
English is required for written and verbal communication. No additional languages are necessary.
Communication Style
Communication will primarily take place over Slack for daily updates, email for documentation, and Zoom for weekly review meetings.
Time Commitment or Working Window
