Project Description
The Analytics Engineer will design robust and scalable data pipelines, implement transformations, and model datasets to support advanced analytics and business reporting. The position involves close collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and client stakeholders to ensure that data is accurate, well-structured, and accessible.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Responsibilities include building and maintaining data transformations, implementing best practices for data modeling, and ensuring the reliability of analytics-ready datasets. Deliverables include optimized pipelines, clean and documented models, and dashboards that empower business users to make data-driven decisions.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field is required. Hands-on experience in SQL and exposure to analytics engineering practices is expected. Certifications in cloud data platforms or dbt are preferred. Internship or project experience in analytics engineering or data transformation is highly valued.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
SQL, dbt, Python, Tableau, Looker, Git, and cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Familiarity with Airflow or other orchestration tools is beneficial.
